Emerging Internet of Things (IoT) technologies and businesses in spheres like smart cities, wearable tech, healthcare, energy, smart homes, smart automotive and connected industrial applications are estimated to be worth £322bn to the UK economy by 2020*. To help encourage british companies to embrace the possibilities of IOT, a second round of the IOTUK Boost programme has chosen 7 companies to receive support as they bring their product to market.
“We look forward to what the 7 successful companies can achieve over the next 12 months”
Run in partnership with business accelerator SETsquared Bristol and High Tech Bristol and Bath (HBB), the IOT Boost 2 programme will offer the companies mentoring, training, expert advice, and access to business networks.
John Bradford, CEO, of HBB (pictured left) explains: “It’s an exciting time to be launching new products and services that benefit from the Internet of Things, and we look forward to what the 7 successful companies can achieve over the next 12 months.
